This jam is for a small but enthusiastic group of dancers.

The schedule:
  • New Year's Eve:
    2:00-5:00 Dance
    6:30 Dinner
8:00 Dance till Midnight, or whenever, and sauna.
  • New Year's Morning:
    9:00 Pancake breakfast
    10:00 Dance
As for ending, we can just see how things roll with when people manage to get on the floor and when people need to leave.
Lets dance in the Commons, and say $36 for heat, food, and sauna, including traditional southern New Year's dinner and pancake breakfast Saturday morning.    If anyone wants to come earlier, say, 10:00, to help with shopping and cooking, that would be most welcome.  Contact me if you're interested.
I'm going to encourage everyone, including locals, to stay the night at the cottage, so as not to be on the road New Year's eve.  This will be like last year, with a few beds, and the rest spillover onto mattresses on the floor in the sitting room, sleepover-style.  Bring linens, otherwise they are $5.
Please bring something to let go of and something to request or affirm for the new year, for myself, for all people, and all of everything.
The dance to hail the coming year will include a celebration and invocation of guidance and help for all that enters the space.
Please feel free to bring an instrument, if you might be inspired at some point to contribute musically.
And please feel free to bring friends.
Let me know what you think.
The dancing might be in the space in the cottage if we're quite small, which would drop the price again.  That will be announced when I hear back from everyone.
